The company has held in Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibtion Centre  Vodafone MOVE 2014, a large meeting presenting the latest trends and solutions to help companies transform their business.

Visitors could enjoy the “Vodafone Business Experience”, an interactive space with a surprising concept where they discover innovative proposals.

Hundreds of participants of the Vodafone MOVE 2014 also met demonstration areas of the latest technology trends, such as data or Big Data Analysis, 4G  high-speed networks and services management with M2M technology.

According to Vodafone, their strategic partners Sony, Samsung, Huawei and Nokia also attended the event as exhibitors.

A war scenario: the perfect battle scene for the latest videogame of Battlefield series. The Convention & Exhibition Centre of Feria Valencia was chosen to shoot their latest spot, which had Imanol Arias as a main actor. A comfortable setting,, versatile facilities, an open space that can host any kind of scenario and its concrete walls, were the key factors to making this a great set for the spot.

It is the original spot of Battlefield 4, the acclaimed FPS game. The two-minute spot, shows a player from the moment he wakes-up until he arrives to the battlefield, the playing zone where other players are waiting to enter the war experience under the command of their tough superior Imanol Arias – the popular actor of the Spanish series “Cuéntame”.

Feria Valencia ´s  Convention & Exhibition Centre attended Imex 2014, the event of the MICE industry that takes place every may in Frankfurt, and that this year highlighted by the amount  of buyers.

In this Edition,  the Convention & Exhibition Centre had a double participation; with its presence at the booth of the Valencian Community, Turespaña and the booth at  Valencia city , with Turisvalencia. Significantly increasing the previously closed appointments.

Social networking   increased significantly, especially on Twitter (@eventos_fv) where the Convention & Exhibition Centre managed to increase the visibility at the show.

The wide range of complementary activities that took  place before and during the fair, make the associations stimulate the full potential of the sector.Proof of this was the  AIPC Sales Marketing Summit, or the ICCA  Workshop .
Not forgetting all the networking activities that take place once the fair is closed and that, once more, have the hability to get  buyers and sellers toguether  in a much more relaxed athmosphere.

The Convention and Exhibition Centre´s team from  doubled the number of appointments with potential  MICE industry customers. A good sign for optimism.

Feria Valencia hosted the 7th and 8th of March the ExpoCadena commercial event, organized by the firm Ehlis. A total of 237 exhibitors occupied level 2 halls 1 and 2 of exhibition facilities where, 90 partners of the chain group integrating a total of 1182 hardware stores met as well as Habitacle with 22 retail centers dedicated to DIY.

The 4th edition of the ExpoCadena Congress was celebrated together with the professional exhibition focusing in strategic innovation, motivation and improvement of the point of sale.

Together with Tourism Valencia Convention Bureau, Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre will participate as an exhibitor in the next EIBTM edition, which will be held in Barcelona from 19th to 21st of November. Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre continue its work of international promotion following his participation in the IMEX America held in Las Vegas between 14th and 16th of October. Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre exhibits one year more in the major meeting in the world dedicated to the MICE industry offering splendid facilities and organizational skills to professionals in the association and corporate market  organising conventions and congresses around the world.

Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Center presented its Congress and Events offer in IMEX AMERICA 2013 held in Las Vegas from 15th to 17th October. With its participation in IMEX, Feria Valencia deals with the American market, an area of vital importance to the international tourism business sector, in which Valencian venue is responsible for have deposited their efforts and confidence any time soon. Operators around the world presented their products and innovations in the sector in all its forms in this great exhibition for meetings, congresses and tourism industry. Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Center showed their intense events calendar, its organizational capacity, and the benefits of its facilities for holding all kinds of events.

The famous marketing creator Risto Mejide opened the Conferences Programme during the International Franchising Fair – SIF 2013. In a room full of people, Mejide talked about hist “7+1 advices, or shortcuts, of how to create a brand”. Modesty, honesty, caring, wit, creativity or as he prefers to call it, “opportunism”, polarize and have a good cause are the shortcuts that has been given by the advertising creative to entrepreneurs and young people who have attended the presentation. Mejide finished urging “working in a company or search for a franchise that society wants it there” and has pointed out that “in times of conflict, like that we are living, there are many opportunities”. SIF, International Franchising show, closed its twenty-fourth edition with a high degree of satisfaction. The event – held from 17th to 19th October – showed the offer of 278 commercial signs offered many business opportunities for the thousands of visitors who came to visit the fair.

Gastronoma, the great gourmet meeting in the Valencian Region, provided  professionals and amateurs three intense days of gastronomic and tasting activities enjoyed by the large audience that came to Feria Valencia between 21st and 23rd September. The fair featured the star presence of Quique Dacosta, tasting the of “favourite wines from David Rabasa”, sommelier of the restaurant Ricard Camarena, tastings offered at the stand of Peru, and a Roundtable on the generation of the 93′ with an emotional tribute to the restaurants who implanted the author’s cuisine in Valenciaa couple of decades ago : AlbacarAlghero, El Ángel Azul, Joaquín Schmidt and Oligarum.

InviTRA, Fair  organised by Reproducción Asistida.ORG – leading online magazine in the sector – and Feria Valencia, fulfilled the goal of bringing the assisted reproduction the general public during its celebration in Feria Valencia from 18th  to 20th October. Apart of having the possibility of informing about the activity of multiple clinics in assisted reproduction, agencies of surrogate motherhood, fertility products, associations and organizations of patients, the visitor had the opportunity to attend various lectures and presentations on techniques and treatments.

The Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre was present from 21st to 23rd of May in the main European exhibition for meetings and incentive travel: IMEX 2013.

The Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre continues its increasing development of number and quality of organised evnts. So far this year ten major events apart from several presentations and meetings that have been organised, although smaller in terms of call, just as important in their respective sectors of activity.

The most important include multitudinous events such as BioCultura, Exotic Forum, GrowMed and Manga Show.

The 4th edition of BioCultura from 22 to 24 February and was shut down with some extraordinary results, welcoming more than 200 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors. Up to a total of 150 activities were held simultaneously with the exhibition and though the food sector was which followed taking more prominence with a range of more than 10,000 certified products, industry including health, fashion, hygiene and aesthetics also saw increased its presence in this event.

Exotic Forum – International Fair of Reptiles, Amphibians, Arthropods, Fish and Exotic Mammals-, was held at the Feria Valencia on April 13th. Up to 2,500 visitors came to the event.

Animal species such as boas, American box turtles, Aldabra giant tortoises, frogs arrow and various specimens of exotic mammals including sea urchins, gliding, squirrels, bats, or meerkats mammals, caught the attention of fans and professionals in the field of exotic wildlife. In addition, the fair featured the celebration of the II Exotic ForumConference with the collaboration of the Valencian Herpetologic Society.

Growmed 2013 showcases the latest medical uses of cannabis

Doctors, Lawyers and recognised international experts will meet in Feria Valencia from 19th to 21st of April

Medical cannabis show, Growmed 2013 hosts a full program of conferences and debates on different therapeutic uses of this plant. Three days renowned national and international experts will present the latest studies and initiatives about cannabis being developed around the world to treat different diseases.

From 19th to 21st of April GrowMed celebrates its second edition in Feria Valencia with the offer of more than 130 exhibitors producers of seeds, substrates, fertilizers, plant protection, equipment for lighting, humidification, shops or growshops, associations, clubs and businesses in the auxiliary industry that surrounds the cannabis plant.

Different seeds for different symptoms

For the first time presents a medical study with different varieties, which the user can be found in the cannabis seed market to combat different symptoms such as insomnia, lack of appetite or nausea. BESFES, Best Best Specimen For Each Symptom, study will be presented by Dr. José Pedraza, Member of the Spanish society of cannabinoid research (SEIC) and coordinator of the medical lectures of the fair, which will focus on the Medical Arena.

General Practitioner and specialist in addictive disorders Fernando Caudevilla will present at the fair a study conducted jointly with the psychologist José Carlos Bouso over uses for cannabis, Use Responsibly. This optional has recently carried out a medical Protocol of cannabis along with the Valencian Association La Flora.

Professor and Doctor in Biology Guillermo Velasco will talk about the anti-cancer properties of cannabis . The use of active ingredients of marijuana to alleviate the side effects of antitumor treatments  has alreadybeen approved in some drugs. However, studies that seek to proove the reduction of the growth of certain tumors, such as – most frequent brain tumor–glioma, breast, pancreas, prostate cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma through the use of cannabinoids and still at the experimental stage in recent years, are still controversial.

Doctor and researcher Ester Aso will talk to the Member of the Board of Directors of the SEIC and the editorial board of the Magazine Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease about the  neuroprotective properties and repairing brain damage of cannabis to treat diseases such as Alzheimer’s.

Doctor José Marrollo will develop the  view of therapies with cannabis worldwide in different health systems.

International references will participate in Growmed

Experiences and testimonies from other countries include the presence of the  American renowned doctor and researcher  Paul Hornby, global authority on the matter, or the Conference of the main israeli company, Tikun Olam, cultivate and provide marijuana to the sick of Israel medical cannabis program. Tne programme also includes the two papers that Jorge Cervantes – pseudonym by Van Patten – will offer repesenting one of the experts of greater international recognition that will explain the medicinal crop in California.

Grow Med 2013 will offer speakers as David Ripper on extraction of cannabis to consume it sublingual or through vaporization or Big Mike on self-cultivation.

The show also will have an information table on the medicinal use of cannabis attended by the physician and surgeon Mariano García of Palau and a table of legal advice to users, growers, and clubs attended by the lawyers Héctor Brotons and Joan Bertomeu.

The second edition of the Exotic Forum fair, Interational Reptiles, Amphibians, Arthropods, Fish and Exotic Mammals Show, which will take place in Feria Valencia the 13th of April 2013, will surprise the visitor with a unique collection of varied species brought from abroad.

The event will count with the major domestic and international specialists who will show the attendees a wide variety of animals, many of them usually hard to find in the market.

The purchase – sale essence of the show will remain intact as well as its characteristic informative power. But also, this second show, will be completed with a numerous offer of parallel activities.

Therefore, the II Exotic Forum Conference, organised with the Valencian Herpetology Society (So.He.Va) and the Valencian Society of Aquarium Followers (Sociedad Acuarofila Valenciana, SOCAV) will gather the most representative personality of the sector. Noel Caba, Event Organiser, explains “Bill Love will participate in order to show the technique and work in the photography field”.

After the first edition’s success, the Exotic Forum Organisers also restart the Terrarium Decoration Contest in 2013 and will start with new activities that will surprise the visitor such as the Exotic Forum Magazine, children’s workshops or even an Aquarium Followers Exhibition organised by SOCAV.

The large number of people, especially children, has marked the 63rd national exhibition and the 33rd Exhibition International Dog Show in Valencia, which closed its doors last December 16 at Feria Valencia.

More than 1,600 examples of different dog breeds and more than 1,000 domestic and foreign exhibitors have made of this event  an important appointment of the dog’s world.

An event in which not only the exhibitions of beauty, but also obedience and socialization of the anima have been multiplied; together with the organization of rescue perfomances, in charge of the National Military Rescue Unit (EMU).

The dog show has been completed with a large commercial showcase including everything you need for the pet care. And the protection of animals organisation and other associations dedicated to the recovery and adoption of pets have not missed to take part in this event.
