The First Lego League (FLL), the largest international robotics and science competition for students aged from 10-16, will be returning to Valencia. For the fifth year running, and following the success of the previous editions, the event will be held at Feria Valencia’s Events Centre.

On Sunday, 21 February, Feria Valencia will host the final of the First Lego League, under the slogan “Trash Trek” (waste management), in which 23 teams from schools in Castellon, Valencia and Alicante, will compete. Organized by the University CEU Cardenal Herrera, near on 1,000 people are expected to attend the event.

During the morning, different facilities of the Events Centre will host the qualifying rounds, ending with the final, which will again be held in Auditorium 1A, one the most modern and best equipped.

Feria Valencia is starting to transform in to a magic forest full of fantastic creatures where everything is possible. There, in the deep dark forest, on a volcano’s top, Vareakai will take place from 14th to 17th January, the last show of Cirque du Soleil where 50 artists coming from 19 different countries participate in a fusion of drama and impossible acrobatics.

Level 3 Pavilion 3 of the Valencian fairgrounds have been chosen by the Canadian multinational for staging the new show. The pavilion’s dimensions and technical features with 22-metre high ceiling and a useful area of almost 12 000 square meters have enabled a complex and exacting assembly in only four days.

20 trucks of 20 tons have been necessary to install the 5 400 tiered seats. “The height, the area dimensions, the width of the goods’ doors as well as a good team work that we have found in Feria Valencia in all senses, from the accesses to the storage areas” are the most valued advantages by the contracting company.

Feria Valencia is the only area in the city where so many tiered seats can be mounted. Not in vain, in his last three stops in Valencia, the Cirque du Soleil has chosen the fairgrounds to the delight of the Valencian public with their large productions, which are related to international level; in fact, Varekai has already been 72 cities and fascinated more than 8 million people around the world.

With this show, Feria Valencia opens the full calendar of events that are scheduled for 2016.  The exhibition centre is working hard in order to overcome the results of the previous year, when the business of events – including conferences, galas, presentations, concerts and shootings, among others – already grew more than 30% in comparison to the previous year. The venue is gaining prestige and share in this area thanks mainly to its facilities, spacious and versatile, and the know-how and dedication to service of the team.

In our Manga show We DO! . Each year many manga fans make a long queue to access the fair ,and us, year after year, we improve the access control measures, expanding the entry area to avoid the queues to collapse the outside and creating spacious access circuits with all the necessary protection measures. And in addition, as we have plenty of space, we can continue growing and growing.

10,000 attendees Saturday and 6000 Sunday at a 7.000sqm show. ¡!! Do I hear more?

Changing the theme of the fair every year and recreating different sceneries with no simple assemblies that are a challenge for exhibitors year after year.
Modifying each mini event flows, coordinating security in each of them, innovate in technology and exhibition. In short, each exhibitor gives it all to be the “IT AREA”

At Feria Valencia we have been years celebrating Expocanina. Our Dogs show. Our facilities are perfectly suited to this type of exhibitions in which you can visit not only product stands related to the canine world but also spaces dedicated to competitions and exhibitions. Having so much open space it can be perfectly adapted to create ring areas, weighing and waiting areas, each one of them in their own space.

As a peculiarity, due to security reasons, dogs can not go up the escalators, so we have to use lifts and external stone stairs to be able to access the pavilion. Having different accesses we then have no problem with dog entrance times. Also another good thing about our site is that we tailor us according to the event characteristics, by very rare that they are.

As dogs that come to the competitions must have some special care, we use the adjoining Pavilion as a parking area, to facilitate access to their owners and the competing dogs.

What else can you ask for? We will make it !
