Next edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar to run from 11th to 13th September 2019

Event is looking ahead to 5th edition, set to take place once again at Madrid’s Caja Mágica

  • 2019 edition looking good: 87.5% of exhibitors expect to return.

València, 21h December 2018 – The dates for the next edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar have already been set. The event, which is Spain’s only 100% trade only fair dedicated to home textiles will be taking place for the fifth time in 2019. The dates have now been set as 11th-13th September and the venue will once again be Madrid’s Caja Mágica exhibition centre.

The fair will thus be repeating the formula that has delivered such good results for its last two editions, especially since it has been held in Madrid’s cutting edge Caja Mágica venue over three days. Next year, Textilhogar will open on a Wednesday and finish on the Friday, and is investing in building an even more professional visitor profile

What is more, this will be the third year that Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar is being held in the Caja Mágica, having started out at the Real Fábrica de Tapices then moving to the Altillo (Loft) at Chamartín. The Caja Mágica fulfils all expectations in terms of being a venue where building up and dismantling exhibitions is easy, as well offering visitors ease of access and every amenity.

Great outlook for next edition

The event’s organisers have already launched their first sales drives, with a view to providing both Spanish and international companies the best possible showcase. Expectations are high in this regard, with a survey of exhibitors carried out by the organisers last time round, revealing that 87.5% anticipated returning this next September.

Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar is expecting to maintain the steady growth it has achieved in terms of both offering and demand for space since year one, with the level of representation of the industry rising by more than 58% based on the number of brands represented.

There has also been a steady upward trend in the number of professionals who have visited over the first four editions, with the number of Spanish and international visitors rising 20.39% and 80% respectively. On the domestic front, professionals have flocked in from all of Spain’s provinces but especially from Madrid (19.8%), Valencia (17.3%), Alicante (12.5%) and Barcelona (8.24% of the total).

On the international front, buyers from fifty countries visited the last Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, many of them having taken part in the International Buyers Inbound Mission organised by Ateval-Home Textiles From Spain with the support of Icex and Ivace Internacional. It is worth noting that these buyers hailed from many different countries, from Australia to Venezuela, Russia, South Africa and Germany.

The event is once more being organised by Feria Valencia with support from textile industry association Ateval-Home Textiles from Spain, a strategic alliance that has again provided the Spanish textile industry with an international business and promotional platform of its own.
