In 2015, Feria Valencia was represented in all the exhibition industry’s trade associations. It was therefore a member of the Asociación Española de Ferias, AFE (Exhibitions Association of Spain, (www.afe.es), whose members include all the main Spanish venues. It is also a member of EMECA, the European Major Exhibition Centres Association (www.emeca.com), which is an exclusive club for Europe’s largest venues. To join, the venue has to have at least 100,000 square metres of space. EMECA has three working groups, one dealing with European Union matters, one focused on technology and one centred on I.T.
In America, Feria Valencia is a member of AFIDA, the international Fairs Association of America (www.afida.org). Lastly, Feria Valencia is a founding member of UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry Union, the umbrella association of all operators in the exhibition industry, from venues to organisers and suppliers the world over.
It is also belongs to the ICCA (International Congress and
Convention Association), AIPC (International Association of Conference
Centres), and APCE (Spanish Association of Conference Centres).
