Thousands of buyers made up for Monday’s lost day with crowded aisles and international business. The Regional Secretaries for Industry and Innovation, Felipe Carrasco and Jerónimo Mora respectively, officially opened the event, which has extended its opening and closing hours until Thursday, October 2.
València, September 30, 2025.- The starting gun has been fired for a new edition of Feria Hábitat València and Textilhogar. Excitement was high after the weather alert forced the scheduled opening yesterday, Monday, to be postponed to today. This circumstance has compressed the fair into three days, albeit with extended hours. And with the last remnants of the storm today, not only did the weather begin to clear, but so did any doubts about buyer attendance, since even half an hour before the opening the first lines of visitors were already forming, eager to enter the exhibition center.
Hábitat and Textilhogar kicked off with momentum and the desire to make up for lost time. With more than one thousand exhibiting firms and brands from 21 countries and an exhibition area exceeding 96,000 square meters across eight fully occupied pavilions at Feria Valencia, there was no time to lose. From the very start, buyers rushed to place their first orders and explore an edition of Hábitat brimming with attractions, such as the Hotel Hábitat installation by Tomás Alía in homage to traditional Valencian architecture, or the textile exhibition Pinknic by Valencian creative Sigfrido Serra, in collaboration with Interiores magazine.
Today also began with some rescheduling of the planned presentations and conferences, both by exhibitors themselves and in the two scheduled venues: the spectacular Ágora nude, designed by Ontinyent’s José Manuel Ferrero, and the auditorium of Hotel Hábitat. Highlights included the presence of internationally renowned designers such as Patrick Norget, presenting a new collection for Point, Italian designer Monica Armani for Viccarbe, or the tireless Ramón Esteve, who unveiled his latest work for Vondom as a world premiere. Also noteworthy was the ‘Women in Office Design’ meeting led by Actiu, and a talk on international hospitality featuring Chinese architect Ben Wu and American interior designer Joshua Rice.
Official inauguration
Today’s event was officially inaugurated by the Regional Secretaries for Industry and Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana, Felipe Carrasco and Jerónimo Mora, accompanied by the chairmen of the Organizing Committees of Hábitat and Textilhogar, businessmen Vicente Pons and José Manuel Revert, along with a broad representation of the sector and business community.
