Organised by the CEU Cardenal Herrera University, the II First Lego League will be arrive to Valencia the 24th of February, one of the biggest robotic tournaments headed to young people: Firs Lego Challenge.

Under a sporting event format, First Lego League tournaments are directed to boys and girls aged between 10 and 16 who guided by a coach, should resolve a challenge through research projects and programming of robots.
The Regional tournaments (over 550) are carried out since 1998 in more than 60 different countries, involving more than 21,000 teams and a total of 30,000 volunteers. The winning teams of these tournaments pass to the national finals, and ultimately to continental and world matches.
Each team will face a challenge in different ways: the competition of robots, the presentation of the technical project of the robot, the stand up for the scientific project and the implementation of teamwork. This event will be hosted in Auditorium 1A of Feria Valencia Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The challenge of 2012, in the first edition of First Lego League in Valencia participated a total of 163 students, 18 teams of 16 schools in the Valencian Community, Murcia and Cuenca.
