Experts and directors from Google, Facebook, Microsoft, IBM and BuyVip will share their thoughts on 26th October at Feria Valencia on “How to sell more by using the new technologies”

Due to unavoidable last minute commitments related to his job as global director of emerging products at Google, Bernardo Hernández has delegated his role as a speaker to Olga San Jacinto, director of Google’s Spain and Portugal division.

FIMMA-MADERALIA has now announced the definitive line-up of experts and representatives of the world’s leading technology companies who will be gathering together at the fair on 26th October for the “How to use the new technologies to sell more” seminar.

The seminar is part of the programme of parallel events that are being staged during the 35th International Fair for Woodworking Machinery and Tools (FIMMA) and the International Fair for Suppliers to the Wood Processing Industry (MADERALIA) in the Events Centre at Feria Valencia at the same time as the two exhibitions.

According to sources within the organisation, although it had originally been announced that Bernardo Hernández, Google’s global director for emerging products would speak at the seminar, he has unfortunately had to withdraw due to unavoidable work commitments. Speaking in his place however will be Olga San Jacinto, director of Google’s Spain and Portugal division.

Alongside San Jacinto other top level speakers include Irene Cano, sales director for Facebook Spain; Héctor Sánchez, director of technology at Microsoft; Ícaro Moyano, director of communications at BuyVip and ex director of communications at Tuenti and Ángel Sagredo, sales director for Enterprise Marketing Management and eCommerce at IBM.

The guest experts will use their presentations to reveal how to increase sales by using the internet, what benefits social networks offer SME’s, how to set up online sales and how to structure an advertising campaign in the social media inexpensively and to maximum effect.

Organised jointly by Feria Valencia and the Valencia Chamber of Commerce, the seminar is open to all professionals from the business world who wish to attend, whether or not they are involved in the wood processing sector and ancillary industries.

Those attending the seminar, which is being supported by Google, BBVA, Microsoft, Banco Santander, IBM, BuyVip (Amazon), ESIC and Metroscopia, will be given a voucher for a free AdWords trial to advertise their business on Google.
